This article is the English version of my previous article “Olahraga Bikin Hidup Lebih Hidup.” I decided to write the English version as my teacher suggested it.
Before posting this article in Indonesian, I hadn’t posted anything for around 6 months for some reasons, such as writer’s block and harsh life. Well, c’est la vie.
When I was disappearing, I focused on myself for I had a lot of disappointment, irritation, rage, and a self-acceptance issue. And I was fully aware that the thing that can save me is exercising, just like 4 years ago.

Nggak terasa udah setengah tahun gw nggak nulis apapun. Ada beberapa alesan sih, misalnya writer’s blockandlife was not easy. Well, c’est la vie.
Dan selama gw menghilang, gw berusaha fokus sama diri gw sendiri. Banyak kekecewaan, kekesalan, kemarahan, rasa nggak terima dalam diri gw. Gw inget hal yang menyelamatkan gw dari masa abu-abu gw 4 tahun yang lalu adalah olahraga.
I can’t hold my itchy fingers to post this for later. Sometimes I hear people I just met or knew a few days or even a few hours ago say that I have a trust issue. Oh, come on! Why would I trust people I just met right away? It doesn’t hurt to be cautious, but it hurts when someone betrays your trust.
